Maybe it's true ten years ago, but now it just sounds so sarcastic to me.
In YuehFu's 2007 production
there were no brass performer who went to these two high schools; no, not a single one.
And we got more and more college graduates rather than freshman in the past couple of years,
so the statement mentioned about(which is always the first impression people have in mind) is,
far from the reality anyomre.
Darn it, how did this wrongful stereotype started?
Oh and, we definitely don't have any trombone, and it's not a marching band;
it's called drum corps.
I can totally tolerate that "marching band" comment though;
even in the states,
only a few percentage of people truely understand the differences between the two,
let alone here in Taiwan, probably a handful I guess.
The problem is, I've developed one and only one serious hobby in the past six or seven years,
and it's it. It's drum corps.
在建中下完樂器,碰到來接人的小彬;
(I suppose she was half joking) 說,
Well well well, that is, honestly, so true!
