大學念師大科技系的我，看到他的ETC (Entertainment Technology Center), 覺得
科技教育就是要像這樣阿！
用遊戲、平易近人的介面教授困難的程式撰寫，這不正是科技教育該有的內涵嗎？

好多簡單卻精準的鼓勵，好有趣的老師。幽默感十足！

下面節錄我覺得很棒的話--
"when you're screwing up and nobody's saying anything to you anymore, 
that means they gave up."

"experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted."

"the brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. 
The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. 
Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough.

Two rules: no shooting violence and nopornography. 
Not because I'm opposed to those in particular, but you know, that's been done with VR, right? 
And you'd be amazed how many 19-year-old boys are completely out of ideas 
when you take those off the table.

and you just have to put up with it."

"The best way to teach somebody something is 
to have them think they're learning something else."

"Millions of kids having fun while learning something hard. That's pretty cool."

"President Cohen, when I told him I was going to do this talk, he said, 
please tell them about having fun, because that's what I remember you for. 
And I said, I can do that, but it's kind of like a fish talking about the importance of water. 
I mean I don't know how to not have fun. I'm dying and I'm having fun. 
And I'm going to keep having fun every day I have left. 
Because there's no other way to play it."

"Syl said, it took me a long time but I've finally figured it out. 
When it comes to men that are romantically interested in you, it's really simple. 
Just ignore everything they say and only pay attention to what they do. It's that simple. 
It's that easy. And I thought back to my bachelor days and I said, damn."

"Get a feedback loop and listen to it.......When people give you feedback, cherish it and use it. "

"Show gratitude. Don't complain. Just work harder. Be good at something, it makes you valuable.
Work hard. Find the best in everybody. And be prepared. Luck is truly where preparation meets opportunity."

"So today's talk was about my childhood dreams, enabling the dreams of others, 
and some lessons learned. But did you figure out the head fake? 
[dramatic pause] It's not about how to achieve your dreams. It's about how to lead your life. 
If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you."

I want to be a man who enables the dreams of others; it might not be my childhood dream, 
but from now on it's my goal. Thank you Dr. Randy Pausch.
